Smith-Kingsmore syndrome was identified in 2013, by Dr Laurie Smith and Dr Stephen Kingsmore. Given its rarity and recent discovery, there are a limited number of publications on Smith-Kingsmore syndrome, and generally consist of case-studies of patients from around the world.
